On Sunday evening, mass protests in many cities of the United States were fueled by the killing of George Floyd, an African American, in Minneapolis.


The protests pervade as well as Minneapolis, the country's largest cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.


Dozens of protesters, chanting slogans such as "Donald Trump should go" to participate in a new march toward the White House, while his administration asked his employees not to go to work today to prevent them from being exposed to danger.


The demonstrators also chanted in front of the White House the name of George Floyd, in the midst of an intense security presence from the police and the Secret Service to separate the protesters and prevent their approach to the presidential residence.


In New York, a protest march against racism and the use of violence by the police was launched with the participation of hundreds of people, who were demonstrating in the central streets of the Manhattan area, and no riots or clashes with security personnel have been recorded so far.


Meanwhile, the demonstrations in Philadelphia turned into new turmoil, as police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the protesters, some of whom were arrested.


So far, 12 states have included National Guard forces to deal with protests that in many cities have previously turned into riots and riots.


The authorities of at least 20 cities in different parts of the country decided to impose a curfew in the evening and night hours to reduce the frequency of demonstrations, which witnessed widespread popular participation and coincide with the continuing pandemic of the Corona virus, which killed more than 100,000 people in the country and resulted in unprecedented rates Unemployment since the time of the Great Depression.


The administration of US President Donald Trump seeks to hold supporters of left-wing forces responsible for the riots, and announced on Sunday that the United States intends to classify the terrorist organization "Anti-Fascist", whose followers participate in the demonstrations, as a terrorist organization. 


Trump also called on the Democratic presidents of local states in the states to engage National Guard forces "before this measure becomes late," after he threatened to use "unlimited military force" against protesters.


The protests yesterday evening resulted in a number of deaths among the demonstrators, as the media reported the killing of 3 people in the city of Indianapolis and at least 1 in Chicago, amid reports that dozens of policemen were injured during the clashes.


Authorities earlier arrested about 1,400 participants in the protests, including 400 people in Los Angeles, 350 in New York, 250 in Philadelphia, 84 in Denver and 17 in Washington.


In light of multiple media reports about police attacks on protesters, "Amnesty International" urged the US authorities to stop using "excessive violence" against demonstrators in the protests in the United States, saying that the country's police failed to implement their obligations.
