The General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions in Dubai Police has started conducting remote pilot tests for inmates from seventh to twelfth grade, in preparation for end-of-season exams, in cooperation with the Dubai Educational Zone.

The Director of the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, Brigadier Ali Al-Shamali, said that this year’s exams come in exceptional circumstances that everyone knows, and to ensure that the physical distance is prevented from infection with Corona virus (Covid-19), the administration considered that the end-of-year exams for the students should be done remotely.

He added that the administration has opened the door for home school enrollment for inmates students at various educational levels, in cooperation and coordination with the Dubai Educational Zone, stressing the keenness of the Dubai Police General Department on the humane treatment of inmates, asserting their social rights and helping them to integrate into society to support themselves after the punishment period.
