On May 30th local time, thousands of protesters gathered in the Pan Pacific Park in southern Los Angeles to continue to protest the death of George Floyd due to violent law enforcement. At first, the protesters gathered in the park to express peacefully against the violence Dissatisfied with the incident, and shouting protest slogans, the protesters began to move forward to the nearby commercial area and occupied most of the streets, causing traffic paralysis, and some protesters began to damage commercial facilities along the way. When the Los Angeles Police Department police officers arrived at the scene to try to maintain order and prevent the protesters from moving forward, the protesters clashed with the police officers at the scene and burned down a number of police cars.The police then fired rubber bullets at these protesters in an attempt to disperse the protest crowd.

  Afterwards, Mayor Eric Jasiti of Los Angeles, California, expressed dissatisfaction with the peaceful demonstrations turning into violent conflict and destruction at the press conference, and announced that the city of Los Angeles will implement a curfew that night. (Edit Chi Hanyu)
