The military engineering company of the Libyan National Accord government has published pictures of writings in the Russian language on the walls of south of Tripoli, at a time when members of the Libyan parliament in Tobruk issued a statement calling for the renunciation of discord and division, amid intense international contacts.

The engineering company stated that these writings were found in houses in the Ain Zara region, south of the capital, where armed men from the Russian Wagner Company were deployed.

He also wrote other sentences in Russian that include the names of landmarks in the Ain Zara area, south of Tripoli, such as describing a house and locating a store and a meat store.

Other writings show the determination of geographical directions and coordinates of mines planted in civilian homes and their residential neighborhoods south of Tripoli.

Al-Wefaq forces also published pictures of Russian anti-personnel mines, dozens of which were found planted in residential areas south of the capital.

Russian writings were found in Ain Zara, south of Tripoli, where gunmen from the Russian Wagner Company (Al-Jazeera) were deployed.

International calls

On the other hand, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte stressed the importance of expediting the appointment of a new UN envoy in Libya, and expressed his country's concern about the continued presence of external parties to send weapons there, considering this an escalation that contributes to fueling the conflict and prolongs the suffering of the Libyan people, and constitutes a threat to neighbors Libya and European security.

Conti demanded - during a telephone conversation with the President of the Presidential Council of the Government of Conciliation Fayez al-Sarraj - to return to the political track in accordance with Security Council resolutions and the outputs of the Berlin Conference.

He also said that deciding the future of Libya should be with the Libyans alone, and not with foreign hands, and he called for the return of Libyan oil production.

For his part, Al-Sarraj confirmed that the flow of weapons to the forces of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter did not stop, but rather increased in frequency.

On the other hand, the Egyptian presidential spokesperson said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron confirmed - in a telephone call - their complete desire to end the Libyan crisis by reaching a political solution that paves the way for the return of security and stability in the country, support related international efforts and implementation of practical outputs Berlin, and rejected any outside interference in this regard.

These developments come at a time when members of the Libyan parliament in Tobruk issued a statement calling for rejecting discord and division and preserving the social fabric and cohesion between the people of the homeland, and urged all Libyans and all political parties to preserve the national constants.

The signatories called on the Libyans to inject the blood of the Libyans, and that this should be considered a top priority that everyone should strive to achieve.

The statement called for taking all necessary measures to do so, from a cease-fire, disengagement and commitment to a return to dialogue.

He also urged the urgent return to dialogue to form a new executive authority based on "the structure of a presidential council composed of a president, two deputies, a prime minister, and a government of national unity."

The statement stressed that the weapon must be in the hands of state institutions alone, and it cannot be used to impose a fait accompli.

On Saturday, Al-Wefaq government forces had made great progress in the vicinity of Tripoli Airport and the Ramla axis south of the capital.

The media center for the "Barkan Rage" operation of the Al-Wefaq government said that the Mahjoub brigade forces "are advancing strongly in the Ramla axis and the vicinity of Tripoli airport," adding that these forces took control of two armed cars and destroyed another six.

During the past few days, Al-Wefaq forces succeeded in controlling combat hubs and strategic camps south of Tripoli, most notably the Hamza and Yarmouk camps.

In a related context, the Ministry of Interior in the Al-Wefaq government announced that it had found on Saturday a mass grave in an area south of Tripoli, after it was recovered from Haftar's forces.

The Ministry of the Interior said in a statement that the finding of the cemetery came after a communication was received by the Sa`diyyah Police Station in the Directorate of Security of Al-Jafar, from the Red Crescent department in Zintan, about the existence of a mass grave in the Sa`diyyah area near the Zaytouni Mosque, where four fully decomposed bodies belonging to a man, a woman and two children were removed.
