“Yesterday, Governor De Santis activated the Florida National Guard forces. Miramar currently has 150 Guards, 150 at Camp Blending and 100 in Tampa. These specially trained units support law enforcement in a number of areas, ”she said.
It was previously reported that New York State authorities are ready to engage the National Guard, if necessary, amid mass protests that began in the country after the death of African American George Floyd.
