Guest of the "Grand Rendez-vous" on Europe 1, Ségolène Royal, former Minister of the Environment and former ambassador for the poles, returned to the debates around hydroxychloroquine and the ban on this drug. Asked about Didier Raoult, she said "that she does not support him", but "denounces the way he was treated", teasing Olivier Véran.

INTERVIEW

Has hydroxychloroquine, a drug popularized by Professor Didier Raoult, been banned by Olivier Véran too quickly? "Yes", replies Ségolène Royal. The former Minister of the Environment, guest of the  Grand Rendez-vous  Sunday, estimated on Europe 1 that the Minister of Health "hurried" to ban the molecule (following the publication of a study in the reference journal  The Lancet ), "as if there was some kind of revenge against Professor Raoult".

"Let us have no aggressiveness towards him"

"It is not the proper functioning of a state official," she said, recalling that medical professors "who are not favorable to Didier Raoult have also challenged the study". Ségolène Royal therefore appeals to reason. "We need rationality: there are studies and protocols, let's do them", she said to the microphone of Europe 1.
