Dubai Roads and Transport Authority told Emirates Today that the first day of the implementation of the decision to return 50% of employees working in the Dubai government to work from their offices, was characterized by smooth operation of office work and follow-up to provide different services from the workplace, in light of a feeling Great among employees with satisfaction and reassurance, as a result of the Authority's commitment to implementing a set of precautionary measures that ensure their safety.
The authority said that carrying out extensive sterilization and cleaning operations for offices and all the floors that make up the authority’s building was one of the first measures that the authority took to ensure a safe return of its employees.
And she added that modern thermal cameras were also provided to measure the temperature of the entrants to the building, as well as the distribution of masks and gloves on the entrances to the authority and the entrances of the departments to all employees returning to work.
She added that educational materials supported by pictures and videos were also broadcast, explaining to the employees the details of the preventive measures, and affirming the necessity to adhere to physical distance and leave a sufficient distance in the areas of presence with others.
She pointed out the circular to employees not to implement any activities inside the building, as well as the need to use the authority’s application to record attendance and departure hours and not to use the automated fingerprint system.
The authority confirmed that rooms were allocated for isolation inside the building in the event of a virus infection, and medical support was provided inside the building through a clinic affiliated with Prime Hospital.
The Dubai government announced a decision to return 50% of its employees to work from offices starting today, May 31, within the framework of the comprehensive plan of the Dubai government to gradually return to normal life in the emirate, taking into account the accurate and complete application of all preventive measures and precautionary measures adopted by the various concerned authorities.
