The violent protests spread across the United States as American unarmed black men, George Floyd, died from the brutality of white police, sparked a spark in the American community.

Basically, it is an issue that has nothing to do with the Korean society, but in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where the incident occurred, protests intensified and some Korean shops were also damaged.

According to foreign officials on the 30th of the local time, 5 Korean stores in the Minneapolis area suffered looting and arson on the night of the 28th.

It was reported that the protests were scattered and spread in some violent ways at the time, mostly reportedly damaged by clothing and beauty shops.

Fortunately, there was no human damage, but it was reported that there was considerable material damage.

Each U.S. diplomatic mission in the U.S. also recommended to refrain from accessing protest sites through the website, social media, and safety letters, and to pay attention to personal safety.

The Consulate General of Chicago said, "Maybe, as the safety of citizens is the biggest problem, we urge you to refrain from reopening the store and pay special attention to personal safety."

New York and Los Angeles, as well as large-scale Korean towns, are watching the trend.
