Two USFK soldiers from the U.S. to Korea have been confirmed corona19.
The USFK today announced today (30th) that two soldiers who left the United States on a chartered flight and arrived at Osan Air Force Base on the 27th were positive for the Corona 19 prosecution.
Upon their arrival in Korea, they moved to the Camp Humphreys containment area in Pyeongtaek for inspection, and were transferred to a confirmed containment facility after the formation.
The USFK explained that due to rapid containment measures, limited epidemiologic investigations were conducted.
Disinfection of planes, buses and containment areas has been carried out.
The USFK will quarantine all personnel entering Korea from abroad for at least 14 days, and release the quarantine after a negative decision is made by the Corona 19 prosecutor.
The cumulative number of corona19 related USFK soldiers is 30.
Today, all personnel are said to have been cured, except for two additional confirmed soldiers.
