Los Angeles (dpa) - The US business magazine "Forbes" named young entrepreneur Kylie Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire in 2019. “Forbes” has now expressed doubts about the wealth of the famous sister of the Jenner Kardashian family clan, but the 22-year-old is fighting back.

Jenner was outraged on Twitter about “a series of incorrect statements and unproven assumptions”. Kim Kardashian's half-sister wrote to the short message service that she never asked for a title or tried to get it by lying.

Jenner reacted to a “Forbes” report in which she was accused of inflating the profit of her cosmetic empire through a “network of lies”. Fake tax returns may also have been involved, they say. After months of research, Jenner's assets are now valued at just under $ 900 million, which means that she is no longer entitled to be a billionaire, Forbes claimed.

Jenner started her own cosmetics line as a teenager, which was particularly successful with lipsticks. Last November, she sold her cosmetics brand to Coty for $ 600 million.

The reality TV actress (“Keeping Up With The Kardashians”) is the mother of two-year-old Stormi. Jenner broke up with her father, rapper Travis Scott. She was very lucky, the 22-year-old assured on Twitter. "I have a wonderful daughter, a successful business and I am doing really well." In another tweet, she added that she could list 100 more important things than fix herself on how much money she had.
