Possible new case of gender violence in Catalonia. The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the death of a neighbor from Esplugues de Llobregat in her 40s, allegedly at the hands of her partner, although at the moment all the hypotheses are open and the police do not rule anything out. At around seven in the morning, the agents received the notice that the body of the victim had been found at his home in the Can Vidalet neighborhood of this municipality.
The displaced patrols have moved to the crime scene where they have found the body with symptoms of violence, so they do not rule out either murder or homicide. In addition, they have activated the search for his former partner, according to police sources. The Mossos Criminal Investigation Division is collecting information and the scientific unit is at the victim's home.
A few days ago a man killed his wife with a knife in the house that the two shared in l'Escala and later committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree.
