Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation police killed an unarmed Palestinian student with special needs in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem while he was on his way to school.

The official "Kan" channel said that "border police officers shot a Palestinian who tried to escape from them near the door of the tribes, one of the gates of the old town," claiming that he was carrying a pistol.

After the young man was killed, it became clear to the Israeli police that he had special needs and was not armed, according to the same source.

The martyr is Iyad Al-Hallaq, a resident of Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, and he was on his way to his school in the city, according to the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

For his part, Knesset member Ofer Kassif said that the incident can only be described as "killing by police officers".

Kassif added, according to the newspaper, that "incitement in the corridors of the (Israeli) government has paid off, and now every Palestinian has become a terrorist until the opposite is proven."

"The terrorists (cynically denigrated) are also executed while they are lying on the ground (referring to cold-blooded executions) or as they flee to save their lives," he denounced.

He stressed that "the real terrorism is the military rule and the occupation, which vows to shed blood here on a daily basis."

On the other hand, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that a Palestinian youth was wounded today, Saturday, by Israeli forces, south of Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank.

The association said - in a statement - that the "occupation forces at the Jabara military checkpoint shot a young man (31 years), which resulted in a wound to his foot."

She indicated that her crews transferred the injured young man to a hospital for treatment.

These two incidents come a day after the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of a Palestinian near the village of Nabi Saleh in Ramallah for allegedly trying to carry out a stepping operation against a number of his soldiers without causing any injuries in their ranks.
