Chaired by Takagi Wakita, director general of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, the committee asked the government to ensure that virus testing can be done quickly, by increasing test personnel and making better use of virus testing companies.
The committee held its first meeting since the Japanese government completely lifted the state of emergency due to the Corona virus last Monday.
