  • Pandemic: re-emergence of deaths in Italy after three days below 100 deaths per day

As of June 3, as announced by the Government on Friday, it will circulate freely in Italy again and even those who come from abroad will no longer be required to remain in quarantine. No limit, therefore, to travel between regions, a decision made on the basis of the latest data from the supervision carried out by the Higher Institute of Health and the Italian Ministry of Health.

A new stage that comes when this week Italy has experienced several ups of the dead. Today there was a new one: 111 deaths in the last 24 hours compared to 87 yesterday. However, the contagions fell, according to the Civil Protection Agency. The total number of deaths in Italy now amounts to 33,340 .

The new stage of de-escalation that starts next week will not be "free for everyone", on the contrary. In the daily life of Italians, there will continue to be a series of obligations and impediments to contain the spread of the coronavirus and the spread of the disease. Here are the 10 things that can't be done as of June 3 .

1. Meetings and crowds, even at home

Staying too close outdoors and in public places is prohibited. Even in households it is recommended that they are not crowded (for example in Denmark meetings of up to 50 people are allowed).

2. Approach less than 1 meter

The distance from others should always be one meter and two when exercising. Where not possible, the mask should be used.

3. Kisses and hugs

Neither kisses nor hugs with those who are not "close" and even with relatives with whom they do not live (especially the elderly) physical contacts should not be avoided.

4. Remove (too much) the masks

In public places, in shops, at the hairdresser and beauty centers, by plane and train, by public transport and where it is not possible to keep your distance, and in some cases even outdoors (in Lombardy it is mandatory) it should always be used the mask.

5. Take off the gloves

Gloves must be worn in many stores, which become mandatory when shopping for food.

6. Refusing to take your temperature

You cannot refuse a fever measurement. At 37.5, access to many public places is prohibited and the health authority can be informed.

7. Do not book

You will not (yet) be able to go to the salon and gym without a reservation.

8. Do not give general information

Italians may not refuse to disclose general information in stores or restaurants that request it. The measure is to track people who may have come in contact with "positives."

9. Travel where you want

You can only go to countries that accept Italians.

10. Do not be quarantined

If you have contacted positive people or in places where the ordinance of the governor or the mayor is in force (in Sicily it extends until June 8), you will have to remain in quarantine from the moment of arrival.
