Earlier, the authorities of American Minnesota for the first time in state history decided to fully mobilize the National Guard in connection with the riots.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also announced the introduction of curfews in the city.

The protests began after May 25, 46-year-old local resident George Floyd, who was detained by police officers, died in a hospital.
