Updated data in Italy and worldwide

There have been 117 coronavirus victims in the last 24 hours in Italy, rising from the lowest level since the beginning of March reached yesterday with 78. In Lombardy on the last day there were 58, half of the national data, while yesterday they had been 22.

The deaths nationwide thus rise to 33,072. The data were disclosed by the Civil Protection. Eight regions - Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Sardinia, Valle d'Aosta, Calabria, Molise, Basilicata - and the Province of Bolzano without new victims.

The new positives are back , with a return to the levels of 4 days ago. There are now 231,139 people infected , 584 more than yesterday. The figure currently includes positives, victims and healed. In Lombardy there are 384 more. Yesterday the national increase had been 397.

50,966 were sick , 1,976 less than yesterday, when the drop had been 2,358.

147,101 the healed and the discharged , with an increase compared to yesterday of 2,443. The increase had been 2,677 on Tuesday.

505 patients admitted to intensive care , 16 less than yesterday. Of these, 175 are in Lombardy, 8 less than yesterday. On the other hand, 7,729 patients hospitalized with symptoms, with a drop of 188 compared to yesterday, while those in home isolation are 42,732, with a drop of 1,772 compared to yesterday.

The swabs so far are 3,607,251, an increase of 67,324 compared to the previous day. The cases tested so far are 2,290,551.
