Earlier, trump sent a letter to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, in which he stated that the US Presidential Administration had investigated the organization’s response to the situation with COVID-19.

It noted that this test revealed fears that WHO should have responded to, "a particularly worrying lack of independence of the organization from the PRC."

As Trump pointed out, “if WHO does not guarantee major major improvements for 30 days,” he will temporarily freeze WHO funding and re-examine US membership.
