May 29, 2020 As every Friday, the tables relating to the Covid risk assessment in the regions will also be examined today, but today's assessment has the flavor of a judgment. Today the government in addition to analyzing the data should, in fact, decide whether interregional mobility can apply to everyone or if exceptions should be provided instead. And this could also apply to individual cities or countries. The political controversy these days and the informative hype, however, will not make it easy to make a decision. If everything were to crystallize last week, with all regions at a low level of risk except Lombardy, Molise and Umbria, a reopening for all could be assumed, but with the three regions excluded from the freedom of movement. Hypothesis not shared at all, not even within the majority.

The Lombardy case
While Italy is therefore heading towards the reopening of the passage between the Regions, with Minister Boccia pointing his feet: "If you start again, you do it without distinction" and collides with the Sardinian governor on the health passport, it breaks out meanwhile, a case between Lombardy and the president of the Gimbe Foundation, Cartabellotta, according to which the Lombard data were "adjusted" to avoid closure. Words "very serious, offensive and above all not true" for the Region, which announced a lawsuit.

Bonetti: "We are waiting for the data"
"I have a defect, I am a minister, but I remain deeply a scientist. Decisions are made on the basis of the data, so we wait to know them". This was stated by Elena Bonetti, Minister for Equal Opportunities and the Family, who spoke on "Un giorno da pecora" on Rai Radio1, answering the question of whether it was right to reopen regional borders from June 3 or if it was better to wait any longer.

Santelli: "We are not worried"
"Worried by Lombards in Calabria? No, on the contrary, I ask him to come. If they come once, they will come back. I invite Mayor Sala, I would like it, I would take him for a tour of the Calabrian blue flags" . Jole Santelli, governor of Calabria, said it to 'Un Giorno da Pecora' on Rai Radio1. "Reopening to other regions? We have no problems, we all wait in Calabria," he added.

Toti: "We will all open or postpone for 7 days"
"Reopenings? Data substantially in line with the indicators, we await discussion with the Government in the next few hours. If it reopens, it reopens everything, this said Boccia. There are two schools: reopen all 3 or put off for a week. " The governor of Liguria Giovanni Toti said it, at 'Un Giorno da Pecora' on RaiRadio1.

Nieddu: "Safety first"
"We have no intention of taking steps back on the safety of citizens. The protection of the health of Sardinians, as well as that of tourists who choose our beautiful island as a destination for their holidays, is and remains a priority ". This was stated by the regional health councilor, Mario Nieddu. "We have put forward a concrete proposal that allows us to certify the negative nature of the virus for those who, from June 3, should arrive in Sardinia".

Zaia: "No leopard spots"
"I think it is essential not to open like a leopard. I understand the concern of some colleagues, but I hope it can all be opened together but also at a European level. We need to increase travel and relations". So the governor of Veneto, Luca Zaia.

Marcucci: "We will open everything from June 3"
"I hope that the Government will decide for a reopening of the Regions from June 3. It is the only decision that can give some breath to tourism businesses and ensure a full recovery of our economic system ". The leader of the Democratic Party in Palazzo Madama, Andrea Marcucci, writes it on his Facebook page. "Having overcome the bloodiest phase of the virus, the state must bet once again on the sense of responsibility of the Italians and on the preventive measures adopted by all companies and on an exceptional effort to enforce them".

Brusaferro: "Regions mobility is the most important challenge"
"With next week we are heading towards an even more important challenge, namely that of liberalizing mobility between regions and internationally, which requires an even more careful, even more precise capacity, to monitor the phenomenon and respond where small outbreaks of new Coronavirus cases should occur. This was stated by the president of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Silvio Brusaferro.

Crimi: "Let's open the Regions"
"The main element must be uniformity, I don't like hiccup openings, some yes and some don't. I don't like the mechanism by which those who come from Lombardy should be seen as a untore or carrier of viruses. Lombardy has suffered, the Lombard citizens have suffered and are overcoming this moment of crisis, so I believe that from 3 June the possibility of maximum opening must be given ". The deputy minister of the interior, Vito Crimi, told Uno Mattina on Rai1. "Obviously - he added - we still have to look at the latest data and even in these days we are checking if there are extremes".

De Magistris: "The government decides"
"It is the government that has to decide and if it should decide that there are still no conditions for Lombardy, I think it is right to restart the others and still maintain a little caution with respect to the circulation of the Lombards". It is the opinion of the mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris. "I believe that nobody, including the Lombards, would like a new spread of the virus. No more discrimination, grudges, sentences or retaliation, because the issue is health and therefore if the government says it's all right, it would be a good sign for the whole Country to be able to leave together ".
