Two people were injured in the accident and taken to shore to be cared for by ambulance personnel.
"One person was unconscious," says Torbjörn Krokström, internal commander at the rescue service south.
The accident occurred a bit outside Skanörs harbor, but details about the accident are still unclear.
The rescue service is in place with four vehicles and two ambulances. Police and naval rescue units are also on site by helicopter.
