It warned against renewed methods of fraud and deception, and the victimization of misleading methods, whereby they are defrauded after obtaining information related to their bank accounts and reusing that data again, which allows withdrawing financial balances. She called for the necessity to adhere to the requirements of the concerned authorities, and warnings related to combating cybercrime and prompt reporting in the event of damage, in order to be able to track and address those crimes, especially since some of these misleading sites are created for very short periods, which disappear as soon as the money of the victims is stolen. And demanded activation of protection programs to ensure the efficient disposal of harmful sites that contain electronic codes aimed at stealing their savings, and not being tempted behind fake temptations.

It is worth noting that the Abu Dhabi Police managed last year to seize 13 gangs of telephone fraud professionals, luring their victims by accusing them of winning fake prizes, or impersonating bankers and defrauding their victims.
