According to the detainees of opinion account, the health condition of the coordinator of the relationship of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) with Saudi Arabia, Dr. Muhammad al-Khudari, has deteriorated recently, and that he has become unable to movement or serve himself.

The account of the prisoners of conscience - which is concerned with the prisoners of opinion in Saudi Arabia - added in a tweet to him on the social networking site Twitter, published yesterday, Wednesday, that his son Hani Al-Khudari was transferred to his father's cell for his care.

And at the beginning of last April, Hamas renewed its call to the Saudi authorities to release the Palestinian detainees - especially Al-Khudari, who is more than eighty years old and suffers from several diseases - especially after the spread of the Corona epidemic in the Kingdom.

Al-Khudari and dozens of Palestinians have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for more than a year, and last February the Saudi authorities launched a campaign of arrests, the second of its kind, against Palestinian residents who are supportive or close to Hamas.

The Twitter account of the prisoners of conscience said at the time that the Saudi authorities "launched a new campaign of arbitrary arrests targeting Palestinian residents on the back of their support for the resistance."

The account added that a number of those arrested in the second campaign were relatives or children of those arrested in the first campaign that took place in April 2019 for the same reason.
