“47 forest fires on an area of 3,750 ha were eliminated in Russia in a day,” RIA Novosti reports.
The department said that at the moment there are 34 forest fires in the country on an area of 14,314 hectares.
The day before, it was reported that 65 forest fires in Russia were being eliminated.
