He added that the innovative device senses smoke at a distance of four meters, then makes alarm sounds that draw the attention of those in the place to the fire, as the device works to remove the smoke from the place, to prevent choking accidents.

Saleh explained that the device consists of four parts: they are a smoke sensor that can be adjusted, a timer that gives time signals set to the lighting and sound alarm, and a smoke extraction fan that prevents the passage of air currents, allowing the displacement of fumes from the area, which leads to blocking vision, Finally, a civil defense communication device, indicating that the team faced the challenge of obtaining project components in local markets, and the Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense Department assisted the team in obtaining this equipment.
