The Football Federation has sent to the Minister of Sport, Vincenzo Spadafora, the protocol for the resumption of the championship matches after the coronavirus emergency. "For strictly medical aspects - it is said in the document - reference is made to what is currently provided for in the training protocol".

According to what is learned, there would be no proposals that differ from what was requested by the Technical-Scientific Committee of a week ago, while trusting in "possible adjustments" in progress during the course of time.

The Serie A therefore tries to really start again , this time. While the data on the contagions, albeit slowly, seem to give courage, what is about to begin is announced as a decisive week for Italian football which, after the resumption of collective training although not yet complete, tries to see on the horizon between 13 and on June 20 the restart of the interrupted season for the coronavirus. The FIGC has moved forward on the roadmap and has already sent the Minister for Sports the protocol for the second phase of preparation and for the resumption of the matches: it was expected tomorrow, it was already sent today and for the health part not there are variations from the guidelines for collective training.

Tuesday 26 then the Lega council is scheduled on the possible restart of the championship: if the green light arrives, it will start playing again on June 13, at least a week later. In fact, although the federal council has extended the end of the season to 20 August, Figc and Lega continue to work to be able to start with Serie A as early as 13 (so that it can close on 2 August), provided that the government changes the norm inserted in the latest Dpcm which prohibits any type of event, even behind closed doors, until Sunday 14. On the table also the possible change of format with the play-offs that however many club presidents do not like at all. On Wednesday 27th, the issue of broadcasters will be examined in the TV rights committee.

Thursday 28 should be the d-day, it is the most awaited day with the summit between Spadafora and the presidents of Figc and the Serie A League: on that occasion you should know if there are the conditions to restart and if so when. In short, the green light and the date of the restart. Finally, on Friday 29th the Lega Serie A will meet again where a report from President Dal Pino is expected at the meeting to close what is the week of great decisions for Italian football.
