Two months after the events in Nzérékoré , the Guinean authorities recognize for the first time a heavy human toll. In the aftermath of the legislative elections and the disputed referendum on the change of the Constitution, violence had erupted in this city in the south of the country close to the border with Liberia. According to the conclusions released on Wednesday by the Kankan public prosecutor's office, 30 people have died there, but the courts still believe that the origin of the violence must be attributed to FNDC, the politico-civil front opposed to the idea of a third term of the president.

Indeed, for the prosecutor of the public prosecutor of Kankan, Yaya Kairaba Kaba, the responsibility of the FNDC is not in doubt: “  During a meeting held by elements of the FNDC in Nzérékoré on March 19, there was question of renewing their plan involved the deployment of armed groups, including some from Liberia and others from Conakry. These events recorded 30 deaths.  "

Faya Milimouno of the Liberal Bloc, member of the FNDC, does not deny that Liberians operate in the south of the country, but asks who brought them to Guinea: "  If there is a group that will come from Liberia, it is the Ulimo (United Liberation Movement of Liberia for Democracy, Editor's note), it has been operating in Guinean territory since the 2000s, there have been several human rights organizations which have cited the Ulimo and the Donzos enormously as having participated in the Nzérékoré massacre.  "

The anti-Condé mobilization, severely repressed on several occasions, resulted in dozens of deaths, attributed by the opposition to the security forces, which the latter have always denied.
