Bank cards. Drawing. - Mr. Allili - Sipa

A 20-year-old young man was arrested on Tuesday by investigators from the 3rd judicial police district of Paris who suspect him of having robbed several elderly people. The facts took place last September. The victims, aged 88, 92 and 93, living in the south of the capital, had their groceries delivered by a local business. A few hours later, a young man posing as an employee of the brand came to her house.

He told them that they had been overcharged by the store and offered to reimburse them. For that, he needed their bank card which he passed on an electronic device. A machine which actually served him to recover the confidential code of the bank card. After giving them a receipt and stealing the card, he made several withdrawals from ATMs.

Summoned to court

After several weeks of investigations, the police managed to identify him and summoned him to their premises where he was placed in police custody. The suspect, who admitted the facts, was summoned to court shortly to be tried. In the meantime, he has been released.
