Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi renewed his rejection of the presence of any armed force outside the framework of the state, while assigning a new leader to "Al-Jazeera and Al-Badia" operations in Anbar province, west of the country.

Al-Kazimi said, during his visit to the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Baghdad today, that "the development and security of security institutions is one of the priorities of the government program."

In a statement issued by his office, Al-Kazemi indicated that this program provides for enhancing the performance of the various security services, achieving the required complementarity between them, and working on the principle that all military and security forces serve the people, aspirations, unity, security, and protection of their capabilities, stressing that “no party or force has the right to To be outside the framework of the state. Al-Kazimi stresses - since his government gave confidence in the parliament on May 7 - that restoring the prestige of the state requires that no party's power be above the constitution and the law, with the need for weapons to remain in the hands of the state and its armed forces.

One of the most important challenges facing the Al-Kazemi government is the restriction of arms to the state and the subjugation of all armed factions.

In this context, Al-Kazemi was assigned to Major General Ahmed Al-Otaibi to lead the “Al-Jazeera and Badia” operations of the Ministry of Defense in Anbar Province.

Al-Jazeera and Al-Badia operations command is responsible for securing the land borders with Syria and the desert areas in the west of the country, according to a brief statement issued by Brigadier Yahya Rasoul, a spokesman for Al-Kazemi.

The decision coincides with a series of changes that the Al-Kazimi government is making in security posts.
