The New York Times (NYT) of the United States today (24th) filled the first edition of the Sunday edition with the names and short stories of 1,000 Corona19 deaths.

NYT commemorated "they were us" in an article titled, "Around 100,000 American Deaths, Massive Loss" on page 1.

Corona 19 In order to show the seriousness of the damage, it was unusually filled with only the name without any articles, photos or graphics.

To do this, NYT searched the Internet one by one and selected 1,000, or 10% of the US deaths.

"We, too, realized that the public was tired of viewing Corona19 data," said Simon Landon, graphic editor who led the project.

According to the U.S. Johns Hopkins University, there are more than 1.6 million corona-19 people in the United States, the world's largest, and 97,000 fatalities, reaching 100,000.
