“117 of our compatriots were able to fly to Russia, including 24 Russian tourists who arrived in Italy in transit from Australia and Fiji,” the embassy said.
It is noted that residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, a number of regions of Central Russia, as well as Yakutia, Crimea and the Chelyabinsk region got on the flight.
The diplomatic mission added that Russian diplomats helped the Russians through formal procedures at the Fiumicino airport in Rome.
Earlier, more than 40 Russians flew from Goa to Bashkiria.
