Police were alerted on Friday evening to Ludvika where loud music from cars, burn outs and filling several places in the city center was reported.

Between 50 and 100 cars had arrived in Ludvika and at three o'clock at night a spontaneous cruising started with a hundred cars.

There were also several quarrels in the vicinity of a fast food restaurant.

- It's distressing when people behave like this. We had a full up, there was an awful lot of people, a lot of trouble and filling, says Jan Hedelin press spokesman at the police.

The police had to establish a special command to deal with the situation, which resulted in a number of actions and reports.

How do you view such a large crowd of people with regard to the corona pandemic?

- For it to count as a gathering, it must be arranged by someone, we cannot intervene against people gathered under the open sky. This was not a contagion issue but an order issue and we have acted on it, says Hedelin.
