The board of the NHLPA, the NHL hockey league players' association, has decided to continue negotiations with the league on plans to end the season, which was interrupted by a coronary pandemic, among 24 teams, TSN reported.
In practice, this means that the players' association will approve a match program for 24 teams, with the aim of getting the 2019-2020 championship team settled.
However, several important details remain open. The NHL and NHLPA have not negotiated a timetable for resuming games, security arrangements and the economic impact of the coronary pandemic.
If the NHL is not completed, the league and players ’association are estimated to lose $ 1.15 billion in revenue.
