The dome of a building on Alfonso XII street in Madrid , in the Retiro neighborhood, has collapsed this morning without causing injuries, although it did cause damage to the balconies on the upper floors of the property and to several vehicles that were parked in the Street.

As reported by Emergencias Madrid, the pinnacle vault of the building, of about eight floors, has collapsed and the rubble and rubble have fallen on the balconies of the upper floors and on the street.

Although there have been no injuries or people trapped inside , the falling debris has caused damage to several vehicles parked on the road at the time.

Eight crews from Madrid firefighters - who have secured the area, removed rubble and cleaned up the affected part of the building - and a Samur-Civil Protection unit as a preventive have moved to the scene , while the Municipal Police of the capital has intervened to make traffic cuts in the area.
