The former head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" Khaled Mashal sent a letter to the new regime in Sudan, in which he said that normalization with Israel was a false mirage.

And via a broadcast on the Sudanese People's Congress page on Facebook, Meshaal said, "My message to the Sudanese regime is, you are free in your internal and external policy, and we do not dictate to anyone, normalization with Israel in terms of the interest in the false mirage."

He added, "Khartoum in the Palestinian memory has a great position, so we do not want to frustrate us with any concessions."

Meshaal expressed Hamas's readiness to develop the relationship with the new regime in Sudan without interference in its internal affairs or the affairs of any Arab country.

"There is no relationship (of Hamas) with the new Sudanese regime. There were phone calls between Brother Ismail Haniyeh (head of the Hamas political bureau) with officials in Sudan, including the head of the Sovereign Council (Lieutenant) Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan ... but this is not considered a political relationship." Indeed, we are open to all Arab countries and the world, and the system of government in Sudan is a national matter and we respect the will of any people in the Arab world, and we deal with the official systems and with the people. "

Meshaal affirmed his rejection of any meeting of an Arab leader with the leaders of the Zionist enemy, and described the meeting of the proof with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Uganda as painful.

In response to local and Palestinian criticism, Al-Burhan said that his meeting with Netanyahu was aimed at preserving and maintaining Sudanese national security, and achieving the supreme interests of the Sudanese people.

The deal of the century
Meshaal stressed the existence of a Palestinian consensus to reject the so-called deal of the century that aims to hit the Palestinian issue.

The meeting between Al-Burhan and Netanyahu came at a time when Arab and Islamic rejection of this deal was escalating, a plan announced by US President Donald Trump on January 28 last, for a political settlement in the Middle East.

The plan includes the establishment of a Palestinian state in the form of an archipelago connected by bridges and tunnels, the conversion of the city of Jerusalem into an undivided capital of Israel, and the control of Tel Aviv's control of the Jordan Valley.

The League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the European Union rejected that plan, because it did not meet the minimum legitimate rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people, and violated the terms of reference of the peace process.

It is noteworthy that Sudan is going through a transition period that lasts 39 months and ends with elections. Power and the coalition to proclaim freedom and change, which led popular protests, forced the military to remove President Omar al-Bashir from the presidency on April 11, 2019, in power.
