In detail, the cure rate started to increase compared to the number of new infections from May 18 until the day before yesterday, as the UAE recorded 5286 cure cases, up to 38.33% of the total cured cases since the beginning of the pandemic, after the average cure rate jumped from 500 cases per day to 1000 cases.
On May 17, the state recorded 581 cases of healing, and the number increased the following day to 1065, and the number of cases of healing continued to rise on May 19 to 1214 cases, and on May 20, 1018 cases, and on May 21 946 cases, and on May 22 1043 cases.
The official spokesman for the medical sector in the country, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, attributed the increase in the number of people recovering from "Covid-19" disease in the country to four factors. The first is to enhance the health care process provided to the affected cases, and to apply modern and innovative treatment methods in dealing with the injured, as it is considered The UAE is one of the first countries in the world to start using different treatments, such as plasma treatment for critical cases, and different antiviral medications, and these treatments are updated according to the latest scientific studies. The second is due to the expansion of the scope of the tests, to include the largest possible number of members of society, with the aim of early detection and isolation of injuries and the provision of the best health care required for them, and to avoid complications of the disease. The third reason is due to the enhancement of the absorptive capacities, through the allocation of a number of hospitals and medical centers to deal with cases of injured people, after confirming their readiness in terms of medical personnel, equipment and supplies necessary for this task. The fourth reason is related to the availability of cadres and medical supplies, in addition to the strategic stockpile of the drug, as it is one of the main pillars to address the epidemic.
Al-Hosani added that "the high number of cases of healing from (corona) in the UAE would not have been possible had it not been for the great effort of workers in the first line of defense, as they presented a wonderful example of dedication and work to protect society."
