  The aviation industry stated that 2020 is a tough year for the development of the AG600 project and a key year for achieving the project's overall goals. Facing the dual challenges of epidemic prevention and control and scientific research and production tasks, the aviation industry convened a series of coordination meetings to carry out a comprehensive arrangement and strive to complete the annual target.

  According to reports, at present, the AG600 has officially started the pre-subject flight test of the first flight at sea, and has completed a total of 172 sorties and 308 hours of test flights. Promote the selection of transition routes, test airspace, onshore airports, and maritime take-off and landing zones required for the first flight at sea as planned. With the support of the Qingdao Municipal Government, preparations for daily guarantees and emergency safeguards such as maritime shipping, port dispatching, maritime rescue, medical ambulance, and order maintenance are being carried out in an orderly manner.

  According to industry insiders, AG600 has the advantages of fast speed, reachability, good maneuverability, wide search range, high search efficiency, high safety, and large loading capacity. It can rescue up to 50 people in distress at a time, and it was put into use as soon as possible.
