To see tens of thousands of dancers taking over the streets of Lyon, you will have to wait ... a year. The traditional parade of the dance biennale, which was to take place between Rhône and Saône in early September as part of the biennale, was scheduled for May 30, 2021, the organizers announced on Friday.

The Dance Biennale invites you to meet in the spring of 2021 for its 19th edition.

A few weeks ago, in the midst of a coronavirus health crisis, the dance biennial, scheduled for September 11 to October 2, had to be postponed in the face of the many uncertainties weighing on the organization of such an event and the economic risk important ensuing. The organizers then indicated that the biennial would be held in May and June 2021, without fixing the date of the parade marking the launch of the festivities and performances punctuating this international cultural meeting.

The date is now known, the dance workshops and parade preparation will be able to organize. They should start in December in the cities that will participate in the procession.
