He said this during a meeting on the sanitary-epidemiological situation in Russia.
“According to the incoming objective information, according to experts, the situation in the country as a whole is stabilizing ...” he said.
The President noted that in Moscow and in many other Russian regions a gradual decrease in the number of daily detected cases of COVID-19 disease began.
“So far, this positive trend is not as fast as we would like, sometimes even unstable, but it still exists,” he said.
Putin also called for more testing for coronavirus.
In Russia, 8894 cases of coronavirus were confirmed per day. The day before, 8849 cases of COVID-19 were recorded.
The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus is 326,448.
