Alarms about the fire came just before three o'clock on Friday morning.
- Initially we thought it was an explosion because that's how the caller perceived the incident. But fortunately it was not. It turned out to be an A-tractor that was burning, says Erik Creutz, the police officer in charge.
Several firesThe fire could be restricted to the A-tractor and no person was injured in the incident. Police suspect the fire was sparked.
- We are investigating the incident as an injury through fire. There is no reasonable explanation as to why the A-tractor started to burn.
Last night until Wednesday, two minibuses were set on fire in Gnosjö and a number of similar events have recently taken place in Gnosjö and Gislaved. According to Erik Creutz, the course of events is similar.
- But I can't comment on whether these fires are related.
