“We, the children of the martyr Jamal Khashukji, who died in death, declare that we forgive the one who killed our father,” the message of the son of Khashukji Salah quoted Arab News.

The man emphasized that this decision was announced on one of the last nights of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.

In December 2019, a Saudi court sentenced five defendants in the Khashukji murder case to death.

Turkey noted that the verdict did not meet the expectations of Ankara and the international community.

Khashukji was killed at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul on October 2, 2018. Saudi authorities said later that he was killed in the diplomatic mission building as a result of the conflict.
