“By a decision of the First Court of Appeal, the decision to extend the arrest was canceled and sent to the court of first instance for a new review,” the court said.

It is noted that the defendants will remain in custody until a new consideration.

In early March 2019, it was reported that Raul Arashukov, an adviser to the director general of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, was charged with embezzlement and the creation of a criminal community. His son Rauf Arashukov was detained on January 30. 

Rauf Arashukov was charged under three counts related to contract killings.
