According to the expert, to date, there is enough evidence that coronavirus causes an increase in blood coagulation and the risk of thrombosis. 

“Danger threatens any organ - the lungs, kidneys, legs, arms, organs of the abdominal cavity and, worst of all, the brain and heart. If the blood supply to the brain is disturbed, it can lead to a stroke of the brain. And a violation of blood flow to the heart entails myocardial infarction, ”said David Ioseliani.

He also added that all chronic patients, despite the epidemic, should receive the treatment they need and undergo all the necessary examinations.
