It was on November 20 last year that a dog driver was called to the Matchsticker area in Jönköping since a teenager deviated from the scene when police officers had to check his identity. The dog patrol made visible contact with the flying teenager at Slottskyrkogården and shouted that he would stay. The 15-year-old fled over a wall and then the policeman released the dog after him. The dog caught up with the teenager and when the dog handler caught up he saw how the dog held the teenage leg in his leg while he hit his fist against the dog's head.

The blow to the face

When the dog driver ran up to the 15-year-old, he received a fist blow to the faces. The hit hit the right cheek, according to the policeman. Shortly afterwards, several police officers came to the scene and took care of the 15-year-old. According to one of these, the guy must have resisted when trying to get him into the police car.

The 15-year-old denies that he must have beaten the dog and the dog driver. He claims instead that the policeman must have hit him with baton and that he was very afraid of the dog.

No compensation for burning and pain

The 15-year-old is sentenced to youth care for violence against an official. However, the district court does not award compensation for violation because it believes that the act does not reach the level required. The policeman also receives no compensation for burning and pain because, according to the law, he has not been on sick leave in connection with an incident, which is normally required for compensation to be paid.
