An aircraft crashed Friday into a residential area in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. The aircraft had 98 people on board and several died after the aircraft was hit by technical problems when landing in the million city.

But some people must have survived the crash. One of them will be the CEO of one of the banks in Pakistan. This is reported by the Pakistani newspaper Geo News and also confirmed by the bank in question on Twitter.

"Shaken strongly"

According to the newspaper, the CEO and another passenger must have survived minor injuries. The two persons must have been taken to hospital and in any case the CEO should have been conscious and able to inform his mother about the health condition over the telephone.

According to Geo News, one of the survivors has stated that shortly before the crash, the aircraft began to shake considerably before the landing.

- Shortly thereafter it was a major crash and I lost consciousness, says a survivor according to the Pakistani newspaper.
