The alert was given on Thursday mid-afternoon. A man in his sixties was found dead in his apartment in the Borny district of Metz. It was one of his two sons, who came to visit him, who discovered his body. The man had been stabbed several times, some of them on the neck.
In the morning, a fight broke out in the accommodation and lasted, according to Le Républicain Lorrain . When the police arrived, the house was in a serious disorder and the investigators noted traces of struggle.
Criminal identification technicians and a medical examiner went to the scene. The Metz judicial police have opened an investigation.
