The Roads and Transport Authority revealed that the number of beneficiaries of its Ramadan charitable initiatives amounted to 41,210 people, including 20,810 people, 20 thousand and 400 families, distributed among the categories of the first line of defense, and senior citizens, residents, drivers, drivers, and a number of employee families.
Rawda Al Mahrazi, Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing Communications Department at the Authority’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, said that the “Bus of Good” initiative was dedicated to the first line of defense, where breakfast meals were distributed to more than 13 thousand and 500 people working in cleaning and security in Latifa Hospital and Rashid Hospital And Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.
She added that the authority supported the national initiative "10 million meals" by allocating 30 taxi vehicles to deliver food baskets to 20,000 families with low incomes in coordination with the Charity Commission.
