“Zelensky signed the law“ On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Improvement of Certain Banking Regulation Mechanisms ”No. 590-IX, which the Verkhovna Rada adopted on May 13, 2020,” the statement said.
The report notes that the document provides for a set of changes aimed at improving the activities of banks, in particular by strengthening corporate governance and regulating the peculiarities of court proceedings on cases on the withdrawal of banks from the market.
The adoption of the relevant law was insisted on by the International Monetary Fund.
