As specified, the parties will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and US Special Representative for Arms Control Marshall Billingsley.
According to RIA Novosti, currently the parties are working to clarify the agenda of the meeting.
“An agreement has been reached that as soon as possible, given the situation with COVID-19, we will gather to begin negotiations,” the US administration said.
Earlier, Sergei Ryabkov said that there are no signals from Washington indicating the US desire to extend the agreement on the reduction of strategic offensive weapons.
