Barcelona and Inter are still negotiating the transfer of Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez to the Catalan team, but it is clear that Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal will not be part of any deal between the two clubs, according to Spanish press reports on Wednesday.

The two clubs have already laid the foundations for the deal, and Barcelona now hopes to integrate the players in the deal to help lower the price of Martinez - who has a penalty clause in his contract that allows him to leave the Italian team for 111 million euros - because Barca does not want to pay the full amount.

The Spanish newspaper "Marca" mentioned that Barcelona put several players on the table, noting that Inter is taking the decision that suits it.

The Madrid newspaper pointed out that Vidal is not among the players Inter wants to sign, which is somewhat surprising if the strength of the relationship it has with Italian coach Antonio Conte is looked at.

Vidal and Conte have worked wonderfully together in Juventus, where they helped return the "old lady" to the Italian football summit, yet Conte is not interested in reuniting with the Chilean international.

For its part, the Catalan newspaper "Sport" indicated that the two clubs may enter into a deal on Vidal separately if things change.

The newspaper "Marca" presented a group of Barcelona players that Conte expressed interest in, led by the Portuguese Nelson Simedo and the Spanish Junior Verbo.

The French, Jean-Claire Todibo and Samuel Umtiti, offered the Barcelona duo to Inter, but Umtiti did not want to leave Camp Nou at that time.

At the end of its report, "Marca" revealed that Conte "admired" Croatian Croatian Ivan Rakitic, adding that he would be at the top of his list of options, but the international midfielder made it clear that he would not sign for Inter.
