For their part, workers demanded that the establishments in which they work must pay their wages, especially before Eid al-Fitr, so that they can meet the needs of their families.

In its response to a worker’s complaint about the facility’s laxity in which he pays the wages of its employees, the Ministry called him to submit a complaint through the Ministry’s mobile application, or through the ministry’s website, or call 80060, to consider and decide on his complaint .

While another employee stated that his employer had given them notifications of a 30% deduction from the salary without discussing the employees, obtaining their approval or signing an agreement about this deduction.

In its response to a question about calculating bonus benefits for unpaid months, the Ministry stated that unpaid leave is not counted during the end of service settlement as part of the total service period.
