The President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, rejects the pact signed behind the back of Congress between the PSOE, Unidas Podemos and Bildu to completely repeal the 2012 labor reform and do so before the special measures adopted in the economic and labor terrain as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

García Page, as authorized sources in his environment have explained, is betting that the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, return "to the previous point" to said agreement with the abertzale formation and, in parallel, he offers himself as a mediator before other political forces to reach consensuses that promote the reactivation and reconstruction of the country.

Page is, together with the President of Aragon, Javier Lambán, the socialist baron who has spoken most forcefully in relation to this agreement, reached in secret in order to guarantee that the five deputies of Bildu did not hinder the approval of the fifth extension of the alarm state. Finally Bildu opted for abstention.

According to the same sources, the Castilian president from La Mancha declares himself "hurt and perplexed" in view of the pact - "political and not legislative", they say - with a party that refuses to condemn the murders of ETA and with which the PSOE did not negotiate until Sánchez's arrival at La Moncloa.

"It is a matter of conviction," they explain from the environment of García Page. "We build on what we promised the citizens. We don't want to take surprises at the ballot box."

García Page signed a preliminary agreement yesterday with Ciudadanos to promote the recovery of Castilla-La Mancha after the pandemic.
